HEALTHY EASY MAC & CHEESE:

If your child loves mac and cheese but doesn't like anything added to it then here's an easy way to sneak in veggies into your child's favorite food without altering the taste.

Ingredients:
1 packet Kraft Easy Mac & Cheese
1-4 oz jar of pureed carrots

Directions:
Prepare Mac & Cheese according to directions on box. Add a jar of pureed carrots. Add butter and milk, if desired. Mix and serve.

CHEESY BROCCOLI PASTA:
This is a great dish that both kids and adults can enjoy! Its full of veggies and protein. You can substitute/add other veggies such as, spinach, red bell peppers, carrots, etc. Also, you can add a meat of choice if you desire.

Ingredients:
1 cup Broccoli, washed and chopped
1 cup Alfredo sauce
1/4 cup Shredded Cheese (Cheddar, Monterey, etc)
2-3 tbsp parmesan cheese, shredded
1 cup Pasta that your child likes, boiled and drained
dash of black pepper

Directions:
Boil 1 quart of water. Add broccoli to boiling water and boil for 2-3 minutes. Drain water. In a blender, combine broccoli, alfredo sauce, shredded cheese, parmesan cheese, dash of black pepper and puree to smooth texture. Add sauce to pasta.

Sweet Potato Delight with Pasta:
If your child likes butternut squash ravioli then your child will definitely like this dish. Its easy to make and it tastes rich and luscious at the same time.

Ingredients:
1 14-16 oz can of Sweet Potatoes, pureed (Trader Joe's sells an organic one)
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup Onion, white, chopped
1/4 tsp Garlic powder
1/4 tsp of Thyme, Oregano or Sage
2 cups Pasta of your child's choice, boiled and drained
1/8 cup of parmesan cheese, shredded
Salt and Pepper, as per taste

Directions:
Heat butter in a skillet and add chopped onions. Saute until tender. Add and mix garlic powder, herbs, salt and pepper to onions. Add sweet potato puree. Mix and heat until mixture comes to boil. Add pasta and parmesan cheese. Mix and serve.
